Laura, a single mother, finally KNOWS she doesn’t have to be perfect to find true love

Before joining the program, Laura felt super anxious, wondering what she had to do to find a man who’d want to take their relationship further – and not just have fun.

“I dated a couple people after separating from my husband in 2011, but it wasn’t anything serious. I knew it wasn’t going anywhere with them.”

The more dead-end dates she went on, the more Laura was blaming herself for not being the kind of woman a man would commit to.

“I was very insecure about my value and being good enough. I’m not the housewife type, I’m not the greatest at cooking. I always felt like that made me inferior.”

This was also something that had come up in her marriage, where her ex husband would often complain about how she handled the house. Laura felt stuck and overwhelmed. “I was obsessing over the idea of never finding the right man” she said.

Do you really have to pay for help to find a man?

“When I heard of Kavita and the program, I thought it could help me – but should I really pay that much money to get a guy? Would it be worth it?”

But as the time got closer to enroll, Laura’s anxiety wasn’t getting any better.

“Feeling like I’d never find what I want literally created a period of time I couldn’t focus on anything else. So what did I have to lose?”

Making that commitment to herself quickly proved to be worth it.

“There are some classes you take online and you’re just sitting there watching thinking, ‘Oh god, please just let it finish already’- with Soul Level Love I wanted more!

Within the first few classes, Laura quickly understood where this belief that she was never good enough came from.

Laura’s biggest Love Block was created around an unknown belief that her mom never loved or accepted her for who she was, because of how critical she was of her throughout her childhood. This belief was unconsciously playing itself out in all of Laura’s interactions with men.

“By listening to the classes and sharing with the other women, I realized my mom does love me – I honestly feel it in my core. That shifted our entire relationship and how I feel about myself”

This is a fundamental piece of the work in Soul Level Love – you often have one perspective and opinion about the people closest to you (creating patterns in how we receive love), and with a few simple shifts a whole new world opens up. A lightness is born. Years and years of beliefs were shifted for Laura in less than 8 weeks.

Finally feeling like a whole, complete woman with men

After the course, Kavita’s words that there is nothing to fix stuck in Laura’s head. Feeling this freedom, she started expressing her feelings – instead of holding back. And as for the anxiety of perfecting herself in front of men? Laura broke the pattern. Instead of constantly wondering what she’s doing wrong or if she’s good enough, she’s now expressing herself honestly – and trusting the process.

“Not expressing myself used to make me feel like there was a constant knot in my chest full of things I wasn’t saying. Now I say what I feel because it’s true. If someone gets upset with me, so be it. But I don’t want to hide it anymore. I’m going to be truthful.”

Laura has gone from feeling hopeless and obsessive about showing up a certain way to feeling confident and patient. She’s no longer forcing things to happen with the wrong person.

“I’m not the ideal person for every person, and that’s okay. I don’t need to be the best cook to be loved by someone. Whoever’s going to love me is going to love me the way I am. There’s no way to ruin it. That gives me the confidence to be myself and if he’s the guy, he’ll still be there after I mess up”
